Mr. Fazal Mehmood Saib - Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Fazal Mehmood Saib the current Chief Executive Officer of the Bank joined in May 2016. He is an accomplished banker and has been in banking services sector for the last 26 years, ten of which have been in Islamic Banking where he has registered significant contributions to the field.
He held various senior positions in Absa Barclays and the Standard Bank Group where he worked in many African countries. He also worked with IFC (World Bank) as a banking specialist in many countries around the world. Prior to joining FCB he was the General Manager at Gulf African Bank (Kenya) where he was in charge of the business and the transformation of the Bank.
He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from University of Durban and an honours degree from the University of Natal the latter with Honours and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bond University ( Australia) in addition to various executive trainings.
Norbert Talam - Head of Finance
Norbert holds a masters of Business Administration degree from University of Nairobi, Bachelor of commerce degree in finance and a certified public accountant CPA(K),certified Public Secretary CPS(K), He has over 11 years’ experience in financial management since he joined FCB in 2009 from Kenya Airways where he worked as an accountant, prior he worked with K-rep Bank. Norbert has attended several courses in corporate governance, Islamic finance and financial management, he is also a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK)
Neelam Shah - Head of Retail
Ms. Neelam Shah joined First Community Bank Limited as Head of Retail in May 2016.
Neelam has over 20 years banking experience where she has moved through various roles in banking, including credit, sales, business development, wealth management and Islamic Finance with both local and international banks.
Prior to joining First Community Bank, Neelam was heading the Retail Banking division at the Gulf African Bank (Nairobi) where she worked on the IFC led change project. She contributed significantly to the design and implementation of several key initiatives that drove the division to substantial growth within a short space of time.
Neelam holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Charles Sturt University, Australia and has vast experience in training, development and delivery of strategy, team building, product marketing and management.
Robinson Muhoho - Head of Internal Audit
Robinson has a vast experience in banking. He started my career in Dubai Bank Ltd where he worked for 2 years as the Internal Auditor. He then joined FCB in 2007 as the Manager, Internal Audit and rose through the ranks to become the Head of Internal Audit in June 2014. Robinson holds hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from KCA university and CPAK. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAK) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
